Greg Allan
I'm a passionate leader of creative teams, creative problem solver and moving image professional, with a particular love for human interest storytelling in the worlds of Sport, Adventure & Music, and a soft spot for Science, Tech and the way we live today. 
Recently as Director of Creative & Editorial at fit tech company Zwift, I led on all varieties of storytelling, moving image & creative work in and around the sport of Cycling. Show running 5 series of a sports reality competition, gallery producing live racing output, delivering 100s of brand films and short form social first deliverables and feature documentaries.  
I led the creative production team, built an internal production company from the ground up, worked cross functionally inside the business with large and diverse marketing & product teams in the UK, US & Globally and helped make our team ambitious about their quality, reach and purpose of work.
For several years I was fortunate to lead the broadcast and digital team at The Mercury Prize, including building a production team from scratch to transition from BBC to C4. I delivered 100s of hours of live music programming and youtube content for the brand and got to both meet and work with some fantastic musicians and also continue to champion the value of the album.
At the same time I was also working extensively for Adidas Football, most notably hand in hand with WeAreSocial creating a large part of the award winning “All In Or Nothing” World Cup Campaign.
I provide leadership, vision, and support for every team I work with and at every scale, from 1 on 1 with athletes on location, or designers, influencers & writers in development, to large scale multi day location shoots with 100+ cast and crew, both in traditional settings and with globally distributed teams. 
My 20 years in the worlds of TV, Music, Sport, Fit Tech, Marketing, Branded Content & Documentary have given me an incredible opportunity to work with and lead teams of brilliant, gifted and dedicated professionals of all sorts, and bring the skills of each of those worlds together to fit the ever evolving mix of channels which productions use to reach their audience, and tell the story they want to tell. I champion filmmakers, writers, creatives and on screen talent that I work with and aim to help them find the best of themselves in every project we work on together.
As a hands on director I have worked on and continue to work on narrative led projects and campaigns from brief to delivery, and as well as working closely with clients and commissioners, over my career I’ve taken on most creative roles in production teams from writing to storyboarding, design & art direction to camerawork, directing onscreen talent, to the edit, making tea & driving tracking vehicles. This helps me stay in touch with the latest updates in every area of storytelling, moving image, design and photography work.
I've created, pitched, won and led numerous global projects over my career, and have been fortunate to work with such forward thinking companies as Adidas, MTV, Vice, Diageo, EA, Channel 4, The Mercury Prize, Nickelodeon, Zwift, We Are Social, AKQA, Milkmoney and many others.
