Working with a brilliant team at us3 productions we really pushed the coverage of EXIT Festival forward in 2008. At the advent of DSLRs and the rapid development in file based video tech that we all now take for granted in the current age of "film on your phone and fire it up for your followers" we upscaled the Outside Broadcast infrastructure at the 10 year old festival, negotiated a deal with MTV to create 4 single artist shows and 1 festival show to create an economy of scale that would allow it, and then worked with the event team at EXIT to make it a reality. Add in minicams, cameras in the crowds, stills and analogue film and we brought all that is great and good about the very best of Eastern European festivals to the screens of millions in at a whole new level.
